The Best Deals And Preferential Policies You Can’t Miss On Black Friday and Cyber Monday
The official launch dates for Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2022 are just a few short weeks away, but now is the time to get your shopping list ready. While the majority of Cyber Monday deals will land on November 28, most retailers have kicked off their holiday sales season in some way. As is the trend today, this massive online shopping event is no longer strictly a one-day event.
This means that from now on, you can already get Cyber Monday quality deals at most online retailers. However, with the pandemic outbreak and the rapid rise of online shopping over the past two years, we have seen more retailers selling turkeys before settling down. Target and Best Buy, for example, have begun rolling out their Black Friday deals, offering deep discounts on noise-canceling headphones, smart monitors, OLED TVS, gaming laptops and a range of popular gadgets.
However, no matter when it starts – and with recent shopping events like Amazon’s Prime Early Access sale and Target “Deal Days” sale – Black Friday is still one of your best chances to get an edge on holiday shopping. This is also a good time to knock a few items off your personal wish list, as many retailers offer excellent price-matching policies (or at least price protection) during this time to let you know you’re getting the most you can get off.
Before you start shopping, financial expert Charlie Waters suggests checking circulars first to see which retailers have deals on the items you need. “And look for coupons on sites such as CouponBirds, which have organized Black Friday and Cyber Monday coupons all on top of the brand page to make it easier to find a deal for the supplies you need to buy.”
Below put together something you need to know about Black Friday and Cyber Monday, whether you’re looking for retailer schedules, return policies, information about refurbished products, or just some ways to save money online or in-store.
November has only arrived, but we’ve already seen several Black Friday deals. Best Buy began a sale on Oct. 24 on a wide range of electronics products such as MacBook Pro and Google Nest Wifi. Once Black Friday arrives on the day after Thanksgiving in the United States, it will add more price cuts, but unless specific items are sold out, many of the deals you’ll find below will continue through Black Friday.
Some essential things you need to note when shopping at Best Buy: It won’t be offering rain checks for sold-out Black Friday deals, although its excellent price matching policy will remain in effect for items through Thursday, November 17, and won’t go into effect on Cyber Monday, November 28. For items purchased between now and the end of the year, you have until January 14th to return them for a refund, which is great. Finally, if you find that Best Buy has lowered the list price, you can request a price match on your purchase anytime within the return window.
We’ve rounded up some of the best discounts you can find at Target, many of which will be offered the week of Thanksgiving, with prices to match elsewhere.
Some of the best discounts we’re seeing extend to wearables like the Apple Watch Series 8 ($389), wireless earbuds like the Beats Studio Buds ($99.99), TVs like Vizio’s 50-inch M6 Series QLED (now $349.99). You can even take advantage of a two-for-one deal on physical copies of video games, including new titles such as Call of Duty Modern Warfare II and Mario+Rabbids: Spark of Hope.
If you request it at the time of purchase or within 14 days of purchase, Target will match the price of the item you find in the list of Target or selected competitors. You can bring your proof into the store or call 1-800-591-3869 to purchase online. If you purchase a product in-store or online starting Oct. 6, Target will price-match it through Dec. 24. However, the price-matching policy does not apply to gate guards and rival flash sales, such as those offered by Amazon.
Walmart has already started rolling out discounts online and will add more new deals every Monday at 7 p.m. Et / 4 p.m. Pt. Walmart will also roll out its early Black Friday deals in stores starting at 6 a.m. local time on Wednesday, November 9.
Although we may see prices drop even more on Black Friday, Walmart is already offering deep discounts on some hot items you’ll want to check out, including the first-generation AirPods Pro, Google Nest Mini, and TCL 4 Series TV (55 inches).
Walmart’s online store offers price matches for items purchased from Walmart stores if the item is in stock at Walmart.com; However, the policy does not apply to people living in Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico. Walmart also does not retroactively price match items purchased from Walmart.com that have decreased in price since purchase.
The big retailer brands are giving you plenty of time to pick your products, and hopefully you’ll get a better deal this year.
