Souq Waqif opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m., although most stores close between 12-4 p.m. Go in the morning and visit peace or in the evening to get some fresh air.
The Pearl:
It is built on a former pearl diving site; The Pearl Qatar is a planned neighborhood/island known for all things luxury. On this human-made island, you’ll find high-end residences, international fashion houses, high-end shopping malls, luxury car showrooms, beautiful restaurants, boutique coffee shops, and more. The Pearl also boasts plenty of scenic coastlines, perfect for a relaxing walk.
Exiting Camel Racing:
If you wish to experience something unique that you can do around Doha, a camel race might be right for your road. Al Shahaniya Racetrack is one of Qatar’s most famous camel chambers. Racing usually takes place from October to April (usually Friday and Saturday), and while it is a tourist attraction, camel racing is also a popular sport in Qatar culture. Camels are controlled by robots, adding to the game’s appeal. The racetrack is almost hours away from Doha.
Shopping at Doha:
Being one of the most expensive cities in the world, shopping is a popular hobby for Doha’s locals. From classical souqs (markets) like Souq Waqif to mega-malls to designer boutiques, you are sure to find a place that suits your needs. We have no doubt that our guests at the World Cup will be impressed by the multitude of options available.

Visitors will not find a shortage of shopping in Doha. In particular, shopping malls are prominent in the city, both in terms of size and size. Near Corniche, you will find parks and green spaces, and in the water, you are sure to see traditional wooden boats called dhows. To get a mesmerizing view of the city, go to one of the many tourist attractions on the harbor.
Katha Cultural Village:
This purpose-built recreation center is a popular venue for events, concerts, and festivals. While Doha has a lot to offer within the city limits, you will have to travel outside the city to experience the singing mounds and the inner sea. Heading southwest from Doha and Al Wakrah, you will discover a fascinating natural phenomenon known as the singing dunes. Due to the movement of grains of sand on the big mounds, you can feel the effect of singing by moving down the dunes. Although it may sound childish, it is very fun, and the look of the world is good to look at. Next, continue south to explore the UNESCO Khor Al Adiad, also known as the inland sea. This unique park is one of the few places on earth where the sea reaches the depths of the desert.
