Ranged touch attack Pathfinder is a part of the spell and does not require a separate action. The Ranged touch attacks would inspire an attack of opportunity. It applies even if the spell that causes the attacks defensively. If not stated otherwise, they are not able to be held until a subsequent turn. A touch attack that is ranged is a feature of Pathfinder is a kind of melee attack. You create it exactly as any other melee attack. In essence, it’s an attack on the melee that is made with the power of a touch-attack spell (or another capability) to be the “weapon,” and with the advantage of not focusing on natural armor, armor, or shield-related bonuses for AC.

Specific effects are called rays. The aim of rays is similar to an attack with a ranged weapon, but typically, you use an attack with a range rather than a regular ranged attack. It is possible to fire in the darkness or at an unidentified creature and then hope to strike something as a ranged weapon. It’s not necessary to be able to see the beast you’re trying to hit like you would by casting a specific spell. However, the presence of obstacles and creatures could interfere with your vision or offer protection to the creature that you’re shooting.
If a ray spell is granted time, that’s the length of time caused by the ray instead of when the ray itself continues to exist.
If a ray spell causes damage, it can result in critical hits like would if it were a weapon. A ray spell can trigger a critical hit when you roll a natural 20 and will deal double damage when it hits a critical hit.
Other ranged spells can specify whether the attack is a ranged one or a touch range to determine if you’re trying to strike the opponent’s regular AC or their AC to touch. It is a ranged attack, and consequently, the Combat rules say:

Dexterity modifier + Base attack bonus + range penalty + size modifier
Check out damage in Combat rules. It states that you add a Strength bonus throw weapons or melee weapons for the game’s duration. If you don’t have a unique ability that says otherwise, you cannot make any damage-related additions.
For instance, take Fireball with a range of long. It doesn’t strike with it, but you place the 20′ spread area anywhere you like within the space, affecting everyone within that region.
Can we count ranged touch attack as a weapon in Pathfinder?
Touch-based ranged attack Pathfinder and Rays aren’t considered weapons. There’s nothing in PF as of at the moment. However, there was a difference in Complete Arcane for 3.5. They differentiated “weaponlike” spells, which were melee spells as well as ranged touching spells. They are both require a roll of the attack.
Power Attack and Deadly Aim specifically state that they’re not effective against touch attacks. I’ve never thought of Arcane Strike, but interestingly I can’t think of the reason it can’t be used even though it’s strange enough. Ask your DM. He might allow me to use it. It’s a quick action, but you shouldn’t apply it to increase ability effectiveness if you need to speed up another.
There is a penalty for shooting touch spells that are ranged into melee, but they can be cured using PBS+Precise Shot. Touch attacks are usually so simple that you don’t need to invest in the feats, dependent on how the game plays out.
Specific attacks ignore armor, which includes natural and shields. The aggressor must only contact a target for the attack to be effective. In these situations, the attacker must make the touch attack roll (either melee or ranged). If you’re the target by a touch attack, your AC does not include an armor, shield, or natural armor. Any other modifiers, including your size, dexterity modifier, or deflection bonus (if there is one), are applicable in the usual way. Particular creatures can use touch attacks that are integrated. They can override solid objects, for example, shields and armor, by moving through them.
Incorporeal touch attacks function like regular touch attacks, except that they also do not consider bonus cover. Divine touch attacks don’t disregard armor bonuses granted by force effects like mage armor or Bracers of Armor.
Any modifier that applies to a roll that is ranged can be used to a touch attack that is ranged (including the Dex modifier). The same applies to melee strikes and melee touch attacks with one exception: typically, when you cast a spell, you’re trying to hit your opponent, not with your weapon, but instead by using the spell itself.
In the end, you do not apply the modifiers that you would use for weapons (enhancement bonus and weapon focus feats related to the weapon). You are applying those modifiers for spells. Additionally, you don’t apply damage as if you were striking with weapons. Instead, you follow what the spell instructs you to do and usually includes the use of damage modifiers not tied to your ability score.
