Synaptic Static 5E dnd spells
Synaptic Static 5E: You select a stage within range and cause psychic energy to burst there. This spell does not affect a creature with an Intelligence score of 2 or lower. A goal takes 8d6 psychic damage on a failed to save or half as much damage on a successful one. Following a failed rescue, a plan has muddled thoughts for 1 minute.

Synaptic Static 5E |
School: | Enchantment |
Level: | 5 |
Casting time: | 1 Action |
Range: | 120 feet |
Components: | Somatic, Verbal |
Duration: | Instantaneous |
Throughout that time, it rolls a d6. It subtracts the number moved from all the attack rolls, and ability checks. It includes the Constitution saving, throws to maintain concentration. The target can make an Intelligence rescue throw at the end of each of its turns. Hence it finishes the effect itself on a triumph.
Components of Synaptic Static 5E
The spell required just verbal and somatic components. Psychic damage is not mightily resisted (1 immune, ten immunes in MM), and Fire damage is well resisted (37 resistant, 40 resistant in MM, source). Be aware that the penalty to CON conserves it harder to get a caster to concentrate on a spell.
The punishment should apply to this spell out personal harm. Therefore, it makes an excellent pick for attempting to violate any enemy immersion spells. Fumbling Ability checks (grapples, Investigations to see through Illusions, etc.) have many applications, even in the middle of combat, and of course, the debuff against attacks is pretty great.
Synaptic static 5e’s length is instantaneous. However, the bout has ended by the time of the dispelled effect it produces. Therefore trying to finish it does nothing, much like having animate dead. Dispel magic would only operate if the spell’s duration ties to the effect’s length, like in blindness/deafness 5e‘s case. Magic Resistance would not run on the lingering impact (though it might apply to the first save, as part of the spell itself).
Could you use dispel magic on a spell-like animate dead’s inventions or affect people’s creations with the anti-magic field?
At any time, you wonder whether or not a spell’s effects can be dispelled or suspended. You have to answer 1 question: is your spell’s duration instant? If the answer is yes, there’s nothing to dispel or stop. Here’s why: the instantaneous spell ramifications brought into being magic. But the consequences are not sustained by magic (see PH, 203).

Synaptic static 5e having an instantaneous spell. Magic can not sustain its lingering effect and is not under the umbrella of being a magical effect’. Suppose even an anti-magic field (which suppresses magical effects) would not stop the lingering impact of synaptic static. In that case, Magic Competition is no help either.
