But sometimes, we get a frustrating statement from Amazon. It says, “This item requires special handling and cannot be shipped to your selected location.” So what does it mean?
The way it usually is: You visit Amazon and come across something that you’d like to purchase. It is added to the cart and proceeds to the checkout; however, you get an annoying error message and cannot move.
What does it mean when Amazon states, “this item cannot be shipped to your selected location”? Does that mean the item I’m looking for can’t be delivered?
It’s not unusual to see this error message If you’ve ever attempted to buy something through Amazon:
“Sorry, This Item Can’t Be Shipped To Your Selected Address. You May Either Change The Shipping Address Or Delete The Item From Your Order.”
The error message is usually because the item is inaccessible for international shipping outside the U.S. It is a sign that they can’t send the items to the given address or town. You may always pick an alternative address from which you may pick up the item.
