Why stay away from the book of Enoch?

It is not necessary to stay away from this Book of Enoch. It includes the war in heaven, Eschatology, the eschatological Messiah (s), and resurrection. The 2nd and 3rd centuries BCE writings established the basis for later significant ideas. Such as Spirit world is with an evil spirit with a leader. They may not be revolutionary, but at the time, they were. That demonstrates how important they were.

Don’t restrict your inquiry to Enoch. Other books like The Psalms of Solomon, Jubilees and many other writings were equally influential. It is important to note that the eschatological enthusiasm was reflected in another book from the same period written during the second century BCE. The Book of Daniel is why it’s included in the Writings. Book of Enoch was attributed to an earlier “hero”. The same procedure was applied to this Book of Daniel. Daniel was one of the New Testament writers. Being part of the Second Temple Judaism, made full use of the literary works.

It is believed that the Judaism that Jesus practised was an outgrowth of the time and is not a reflection of the Judaisms of Hebrew times of hundreds of years earlier.

The fact that experts of that time did not incorporate it into the Bible Canon doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t be able to take a look. If you’re interested in the manuscript, you should go through it. It is possible to be aware that Jesus was conscious of this book and read it following the Urantia Book. He was turning these issues around in his head. He came across in the synagogue library in Nazareth in the books of the Apocalypse. It was his research, the manuscript dubbed “The Book of Enoch”, And even though he was sure that Enoch did not write it in the past, the book was fascinating to him. He read it and reread it several times. One passage was particularly intriguing to him, a section in which the phrase “Son of Man” appeared. The author of the Book of Enoch went on to speak about the Son of Man. And the mission he would perform on the earth and explaining that the Son of Man. 

He was about to descend onto earth to bring salvation to the world has walked across the court of heaven’s glory alongside his Father. He is the Father of everyone. And he turned away from the splendour and glory to return to earth to preach salvation to all. When Jesus read these verses (well, knowing that a large portion of the Eastern mysticism in the mix with these teachings was not valid), he responded to his heart. 

He realized in his heart that out of all the Messianic predictions in the Hebrew Scriptures. All the theories concerning Jesus as the Jewish deliverer, nothing was more accurate than this tale in the only partially acknowledged Book of Enoch. He then and there chose to use as his initial name “the Son of Man.” That was the title he decided after he had begun his public service. Jesus was a man with a handy ability to recognize truth, which He was never afraid to accept regardless of what source it came from.”

And there are historical figures that existed only in our minds as Zorro, Captain Kirk and Forrest Gump. However, ancient times saw that people would have enjoyed fictional stories of their favorite theological characters. (Only the authors can tell us that for sure.) they also used stories because they added fiction and published the reports as either fictional or real historical accounts.

To stop people from making money, prophets like Moses and John provided strict instructions not to take away from their work. Moses wrote:

I was hoping you wouldn’t add anything to what I have commanded you and do not take away from it. But keep the commandments from your God. LORD your God that I have given you. will not be added to the commandment I give you, and neither should you reduce your need to obey it so that you can follow the commands from God the LORD your God which I give you. (Duet. 4:2)

John was writing in his Apocalypse: Suppose anyone takes any phrases from the scroll of prophecy. In that case, God will remove any stake with the Tree of Life and inside the Holy City. It is mentioned in the scroll. (Rev. 22:19)

Some have seen these passages as warnings against adding or removing them from the Bible. However, the Bible was not written until several years later, after these passages were composed.

The problem with this Book of Enoch is that no one can explain it adequately. The year it was found and why it was not considered a part of Scripture, so on. They only know that it references the Bible, and they are a part of it. However, we can read Paul’s warning in verses, “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine. But after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” (2 Timothy 4:3)

While The Book of Enoch sounds like Scripture, it’s not. Any apostle or prophet does not quote it, and the fact that it mentions Watchers is a clear indication that it’s not true. The notion that angels were sexually attracted to women of the world and then acquired physical bodies is untrue. If, for instance, it was confirmed that angels became human and their offspring, where did they originate from? Solomon, for example, said: “Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, And the spirit will return to God who gave it.” God grants our spirits. Even if you believe that “spirit” is actually “breath”, it doesn’t matter. God has to give the offspring of the Watchers either their breath or their spirits. So why should He be involved in it?

My conviction is that each of us existed before becoming mortal. If earthly women could entice angels, where did the offspring come from? Suppose the other theories are true and angels were the fathers of one Nephilim. Where did the breaths or the spirits (the words are the same for Hebrew and Greek) originate? Will the Nephilim get saved through the atonement of Christ? Whichever answer you choose that the offspring must descend from God as all offspring should. Now you decide if you really want to stay away from the book of Enoch.
