Why is Power Word Heal not available to 5e clerics in dnd?
Power Word Heal in 5e dnd tend to be a more “Arcane” than “Divine” kind of thing as they are often linked to the weave directly. Like any spell with a verbal component involving vocalization, Power Word spells to invoke the actual name of the effect you desire to create.
Gods & dnd deities being the fickle things, they are probably also don’t want their Clerics tapping into the force of creation, so directly Healing spirit isn’t available to clerics. It is by default the rule of Dungeon and Dragons. Clerics don’t need access to all healing spells because they aren’t just healers. Besides, Power world heal seems weak anyway. Ending adverse effects seems reasonable, but something like mass heal is strictly better in 90% of situations.
